David Tague, a Philly native who has lived in South Jersey for 15 years, opened Party Productions/Sublime Event Design in Audubon last month.
Tague worked for the Bala Cynwyd, Pa., company for about 10 years before he bought the business in 2011. The firm was launched in 1987.
Party Productions, at 317 E. Atlantic Ave., specializes in weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, corporate events "and all kinds of celebrations," says Tague, 53.
"I create all the custom-themed artwork and decorations out of my house (in Haddon Township), and we can do everything from flowers, lighting, draping, linens and even favors for the kids."
Tague says he handles between 20 and 30 events a year. "I've done quite a few events in South Jersey. I'm still somewhat new over here, but hope to do a lot more events in New Jersey."
